SV.GAMES is operated by Ivory Software LLC. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What SV.GAMES is

SV.GAMES is an independent index of multiplayer game servers. We query public game servers using the query protocols those servers expose, and we publish what they answer: player counts, maps, versions, availability and history. We do not host game servers, we do not operate them, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any game publisher or developer. Game names are used only to identify which game a server runs, and remain the trademarks of their owners.

The data, and its limits

Everything we publish about a server comes from that server or from our own measurements of it. We do not invent numbers and we do not accept self-reported figures as fact — where a server reports a player count we have reason to doubt, we label it as unverified rather than repeating it. Even so, this is measurement: a server can go down a second after we asked, change its rules, or misreport its own state. We provide the data as-is and make no warranty that it is complete, current or correct at the moment you read it.

Using the site

• Do not use automated means to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others.
• Do not submit servers you do not operate or have permission to list.
• Do not submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the service.

We may remove any listing or submission, and may restrict access, where we believe these terms have been broken.

Server submissions

When you submit a server you confirm you are entitled to do so. We validate every submission by querying the server before it can appear, and a submission that never answers is never listed. You keep ownership of anything you submit and grant us a licence to display it on the site. If you operate a listed server and want it removed, write to legal@sv.games from an address associated with the server or its community and we will act on it.

Availability and changes

The service is provided without any guarantee of availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. We will publish changes to these terms on this page with a new date at the top.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ivory Software LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on the data it publishes. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence.
