Rust Raid Calculator

Price the whole raid, not one wall.
Every calculator on this subject prices a single wall and leaves you adding up the rest by hand. A raid is a path: two stone walls and a sheet-metal door, or an armored core behind honeycomb. Add the walls you expect to go through and the arithmetic is done once.
The cheapest route by sulfur is rarely the fastest, and on armored it is rarely satchels. The numbers below are the crafting cost of the explosives themselves, not the gunpowder chain, which is the convention the rest of the community uses.
Gather rate matters more than any of this. On a 2x server the same raid costs half the farm time, which is a good argument for checking what a server runs before deciding a base is out of reach.
Walls. Doors of the same tier are usually cheaper, and a sheet-metal door is one of the cheapest ways into an otherwise expensive base — which is why most raids go through one.
Because sulfur is what you farm. Two routes needing the same number of charges can differ by thousands of sulfur, and that difference is hours of your evening.
The explosive costs are fixed; the farm time is not. Set your gather rate and the ore figure adjusts. It does not model custom crafting costs, which some modded servers change.
Often not. A stone-and-metal base can cost more sulfur to open than it holds, which is the actual reason experienced players scout before they commit.
